Happy Ubhauli
Ubhauli, a major festival of the Kirat community (Rai, Limbu, Yakkha, Sunuwar) in Nepal, is celebrated annually on the Baisakh Purnima (full moon day, typically April/May) to mark the start of the summer planting season. It symbolizes the northward/upward migration to higher altitudes and involves worshipping nature and ancestors for a bountiful harvest.
Happy Ubhauli and Buddha Jayanti to everyone <3
