Lumbini Police is Organizing Nepal's First Hackathon
Big New for Nepalese developers, programmers, designers and tech enthusiasts
Nepal Police has announced Nepal’s first government-level technology hackathon, Hack for Safety, which will take place on Jestha 30–31 at the Police Training Center in Butwal. The 36-hour event aims to develop technology-based solutions for public safety and strengthen police-community collaboration.
Developers, programmers and tech enthusiasts from across Nepal can participate for free in teams of 3–4 members, while individual applicants will also receive team support. Around 20–25 teams are expected to be selected. Winners will receive Rs 100,000 cash, a government certificate and an opportunity for future collaboration with Lumbini Province Police.
